Gaga Blows Up UK Charts

I was surprised to see, upon opening my iTunes store, that Lady Gaga is outselling Alexandra Burke 2:1 with her 'new' release Just Dance (Ft. Colby O Donis & Akon). This is excellent news in my eyes, it just shows that pop music is making a bit of a comeback after the last couple of years of indie music dominating the UK scene.

Of course, those of you that pay attention to the US/Worldwide music scene will know that Lady Gaga has been knocking around for a while now, but only recently received mainstream recognition on the charts (she currently sits at #2 onthe Billboard Hot 100). Whoop!
