Kanye West (Ft.Young Jeezy) 'Amazin'

Pretty standard Mr. West. Word on the grape vine is that his next single, Paranoid, will include a verse from Rihanna.

Global Music Sales Tumble 8%

Global music sales fell by more than 8% to $18.42bn (£12.67bn) in 2008, according to the body that represents the record industry worldwide.

Physical formats like CDs and vinyl performed particularly badly - dropping by 15% globally and 31% in the US. Sales of digital formats like MP3s and ringtones grew by 24% worldwide but failed to make up the shortfall.

This is partly due to the lower price of downloads, but also because people tend not to buy entire albums online. According to figures released by the Official Charts Company earlier this year, Only 10.3m albums were downloaded in the UK last year, compared to 110.3m singles, or individual tracks.

New Basement Jaxx

They are back with a hot new single called Raindrops, I've had quick listen and it seems pretty decent, but it's not immediately grabbing. With summer jsut around the corner, I can see this going top 10.

Eminem's Next Single

Eminem's rumoured second single from upcoming album Relapse is called 3am and leaked in full onto the internet yesterday. If you weren't keen on We Made You, then I doubt you'll like this either.

Download / 3am

Ciara 'Fantasy Ride'

Until The Black Eyed Peas release The E.N.D, this is going to be the best album of the year. The retail copy of the album finally leaked and you can download below. Please make sure you buy it on May 5th. Work and I Don't Remember are the best tracks on the album.

Eminem - 'Relapse' Cover

Peep the official album cover for, what is being billed as, Eminem's big comeback 'Relapse' (due May 19th). Great cover; that said, I'm thinking, judging by the material heard thus far, that the cover may very well be the best thing about the record.

Hush Hush;Hush Hush Details

In case you weren't aware, The Pussycat Dolls' next single is Hush Hush; Hush Hush. Not a good choice, but this era has been a completemess for them; the Bottle Pop video was a complete waste of time as they seem to have ditched it in favour of Jai Ho! Will we get a video for Hush Hush? Also, notice they are alwyas PCD featuring Nicole Scherzinger now? I think they are trying to lift her profile for a potential solo release at some point.

Anyway, here is the promo CD download below for the release, most of you will have the original cut, but this also includes the Hush Hush/ I WIll Survive mash up from Doll Domination 2.0

Two Fantasy Ride Leaks

Here are the final two previously unheard tracks to leak from Ciara's upcoming release Fantasy Ride. This means we now have every single track in one form or another, but some may still be in demo form. The first track is called Like A Surgeon and seems to be fully mastered, as does the second titled Tell Me What Your Name Is.

Download / Like A Surgeon

This album is so insanely good, but I am so disappointed that she pretty much realeased tracks that we already had. I guess it's my own fault for listening to leaks, and one of the major downsides of file sharing, that you get to hear unfinished, inferior works instead of the final product.

New David Guetta (Ft. Kelly Rowland)

Here is a really hot summer song by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland, this will be smacked hard on the radios over the next few months. It's a bit different for Kelly, but she definitely pulls it off.

Gaga covers Coldplay

Lady Gaga decided to cover Colplay's Viva La Vida. It's a bit of a hot mess, but her hardcore fans will probably enjoy it. She fucks up a few times, but takes the piss of herself so it's quite funny. She did it for Radio 1's Live Lounge so it's acoustic, but nevertheless in HQ.

Jamie Foxx Next Single

Here is Jamie Foxx's next single, it is titled I Don't Need It and it features Timbaland. I think he needs to slow down a bit, Blame It (Ft. T-Pain) is still sitting pretty at #5 on US Billboard Hot 100 and shows no sign of dropping. This song isn't as good as Blame It, has all the hallmarks of a decent Timbaland production.

UPDATE: Okay this song is a MAJOR grower

BEP - Boom Boom Pow Video Premiere

I'm a bit dissapointed; it's not awful, but it's not particularly innovative either. Oh well it's good to see fergie back on our screens. Their album, The E.N.D is out June 8th.
It's Been a while....

New Booty Luv Single

The new Booty Luv single has premiered on Radio One, and it is fierce! THe track is titled Say It and continues their electro/disco format that has proved so successful for the duo in the past.

Alesha Dixon 'Let's Get Excited' Video

UK vixen Alesha Dixon premiered the video for 'Let's Get Excited' today, the third single from her smash album 'The Alesha Show'. While it's predecessors 'The Boy Does Nothing' and 'Breathe Slow' were great cuts, there's little that 'excites' me about both this song and video. Put simply, neither then song or it's accompanying clip, I feel, are strong enough to keep up the momentum Alesha has going at the minute. Of course, things could go otherwise...

New Chris Brown

Here is a new leak from Chris Brown tiled Nuthin', the track is produced by the underdogs who produced Britney's Womanizer and Mannequin. The song is a slow one, and not particularly good, but I thought I would post it for the fans he still has, yes both of you.

Download / Nuthin'

Gimme More Tour Remix

Here is the remix of Gimme More that is being used on tour. Since a lot of people who have seen the tour either in person or online have been wanting/searching for this version, I decided to upload for everyone. Ooh and by the way, one of the dancers has let slip that a new song has just been added to the tour. Kill The Lights anyone?

Jessica Simpson Dropped From Her Label

When OK! called Columbia Nashville, the label which released Jess's country album, a telephone operator told us that Jessica Simpson has now "come off the label." We're awaiting further comment.

An official spokesperson for the label declined to comment. Have all those forgotten lyrics and hostile crowds finally caught up with Jessica Simpson?

A country music gossip site says that rumors are swirling that the pop-star-turned-country-singer has been dropped like a rock by her label, Columbia Nashville. Nashville Gab also notes that her information is no longer the label's Web site -- and it even conjectures that her sudden decision to go to Cabo rather than the ACMs could mean that she is now sans label.

New Kat DeLuna

I've sort of lost track of where we stand in terms of her releases. Was Unstoppable a buzz or a first single, who knows. Either way, her label are claiming that this the 'Official first single' from her upcoming album which is currently untitled. It is very brave and different to what she usually does, but it is also appaulingly bad. 10/10 for initiative, but 2/10 for song choice.

Download / Dance Bailalo

New Eminem Single

Here is the official first single by Eminem from his upcoming album Relapse. It is called We Made You and in true Eminiem form comprises of verses filled with celebrity bashing. It's not his best work, the beat is hot and fresh, but the lyrics and vocals let this down majorly. He hasn't reinvented himself at all, if I didn't know it was new I would have assumed it was from Marshall Mathers LP or even before that. Either way, with his name attached to it it will go sky high in the charts much like Crack A Bottle, but I expect it to drop hard and fast after its peak.

Download / We Made You

(P.S This material is such a step down from his last album Encore.)

Beyonce (Ft Kayne West) - Ego

This song is part of the next double A-side release from Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce. The radio edit features Kanye West rapping for about a minute at the start of the song. It's hideous!

'Reality TV Star, Turned Musician' Overload

Here are two artists that have both spawned from reality TV shows and barely deserve to be posted, but I will oblige and post them simply because they are quite popular on the forums. First up we have Brooke Hogan's (from MTV show Brooke Knows Nothing) latest record titled You Know It (Boys Get Your Girls), her last release reached #127 on Billboard Hot 100 so I don't think the public have much to fear in terms of actually having to hear here on the radio.

Second up is The Hills star Heidi Montag's latest leak called Your Love Found Me. It is in full HQ and produced by Paperboys whoever they are. Perez Hilton has been raving about this record on his massively popular blog which may boost it a bit I guess?

Scherzinger: 'My Solo Album Is Coming'

During the press rounds for the Pussycat Dolls' Doll Domination 2.0 re-release, lead singer Nicole Scherzinger revealed her ill-fated solo attempt is set to be resurrected very soon:
Chief Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger says her long-awaited solo album "may come more sooner than later," but after two years of projected release dates and delays she's not about to set one now.

"I think it'll just come out when it wants to come out, on its own," Scherzinger tells "I'm still working on my album, and I'm very excited. I'm a relentless perfectionist. I get one chance to put out a first (solo) album, so when the right time comes I will put it out."Scherzinger has been working on the album, tentatively titled "My Name is Nicole," since 2006. She's released several singles -- "Whatever U Like," "Baby Love," "Puakenikeni" and "Supervillian" -- while several of the other songs considered for the project turned up on the Dolls' 2008 released "Doll Domination." The current incarnation of the album, she says, "is just in the works and in talks and in the writing process. I haven't started recording yet." She hopes to hit the studio in the summer, after the Dolls finish their run opening for Britney Spears and then tour Europe again."I'll be excited to get back with old friends --, Timbaland," says Scherzinger. She also plans to work with good pal Lady Gaga and hopes to continue a new association with Academy Award-winning Indian composer A.R. Rahman, who collaborated with Scherzinger and the Dolls on an English version of his "Slumdog Millionaire" track "Jai Ho!" {Source}
As talented as she is, Nicole seems to lack that certain something as a solo artist. That, or people are so fed up of having her shoved in our faces as the only face / voice of the Pussycat Dolls that anything more (i.e. her solo attempts) would just be too much.

Lady Gaga Celebrates Double #1

Lady GaGa becomes the first artist in nearly ten years to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with their first two chart entries, as "Poker Face" jumps 2-1. The New York native, born Stefani Germanotta, previously led the list for three weeks with "Just Dance" in January.

The last performer to launch with a pair of Hot 100 chart-toppers was Christina Aguilera, who reigned with "Genie in a Bottle" (1999) and "What a Girl Wants" (2000). Among women, Lady GaGa is only the fourth female artist in the last 25 years to open with a pair of No. 1s, joining Aguilera, Mariah Carey (1990) and Tiffany (1987)."Poker Face" also moves to the head of Hot Digital Songs, where it shifts 206,000 downloads in its 14th week on the chart, and rises 6-5 on Hot 100 Airplay.

'Patron Tequila'

This song was written by Keri Hilson and was set to be on her album In A Perfect World... but last minute it was pulled and passed to girl group The Paradiso Girls (remember Chelsea Korka from The Pussycat Dolls Present: Search For The Next Doll? Well she's in the band). Below I have both versions for download, Keri's version in HQ and The Paradiso Girls' version is currently in MQ, but I will update it when it's available. Keri's version features T-Pain and Ludacris, whereas the other only has Ludacris.

iTunes Will Start Variable Pricing April 7th

The world's largest music store, Apple's iTunes, plans to boost the price of many hit singles and selected classic tracks to $1.29 on April 7, breaking the psychological barrier of 99 cents in what could be the first big test of how much consumers are willing to pay to download individual songs. Although the date for higher prices has not been publicly announced, Apple has been notifying record labels it will go into effect on that date, industry executives said.

The move, part of a new "variable-pricing" strategy that will also lower the price of selected songs, is an attempt by the music industry to wring more revenue from digital downloads in the battle to offset declining CD sales. Label executives contend the new pricing will allow them to offer packaged downloads of songs that might entice consumers to spend more on music.

New Kelly Clarkson & BEP Covers

They have photoshopped the f*ck out of Kelly Clarkson on the single cover for her latest release I Do Not Hook Up (Download). Am I the only one that thinks nothing of this song? Long Shot next please.

This is the alternate cover for The Black Eyed Peas new single Boom Boom Pow (Download). For the original one click here. The release of this track has been moved forward a week to March 30th.

Ashley Tisdale Sets Album Release Date

On her official website, Ashley Tisdale posted release date for her sophomore album Guilty Pleasure yesterday which features the first single “It’s Alright, It’s OK” will drop on June 16th. Ashley posted the exciting news on her official blog yesterday and said this below:

"Hey guys! I have really exciting news and I couldn't wait to tell you. I got the official word that the album is coming out June 16th!!!!! I am so excited because I've worked so hard on this album and I can't wait for you guys to hear it! I'll check back in later! Love you guys!" xoxo –Ashley

Timberlake NOT Working On New Album

Though reports that Justin Timberlake has been hard at work on his third studio album, the follow-up to 2006's FutureSexLoveSounds, the singer has gone on record recently to confirm that he is in fact has no concrete plans for a new album anytime soon:

Justin Timberlake fans, don't hold your breath waiting for a new album. Timberlake, whose last disc, FutureSex/ LoveSounds, came out in 2006, tells EW that he's "not working" on new music right now. The singer -- who's executive producing a new MTV reality competition series called The Phone (premiering April 21) -- has been hitting the studio lately, but only to produce tracks for other artists, like T.I. ("Dead and Gone") and Ciara ("Love Sex Magic").

"Right now, I like the idea that things can just kind of pop up and if they feel right I can do them," says Timberlake. "Committing to my own sort of project, that’s like, 'Okay, let me block out two years of my life and do it.' I was heavily fulfilled with the last one and I always have this thing with myself that if I can’t sleep because I need to do it, then I’m gonna do it. But if I’m not losing sleep over it then…"

While I'm sure Justin's fans won't be too pleased, I can't say I'm particularly fussed. It's hard to deny his 'hit-making' ability on the collabo front...just ask Madonna, T.I and Ciara. However, I think he will come running back to music as soon as he starts to lose the limelight and the work dries up.

Doll Domination 2.0 Tracks Leaked

Well, here they are in all their glory. The two extra tracks to be released as part of the Doll Domination re-release feature a remix of Hush Hush and a new studio track called Painted Windows. Both are stunning tracks and the other dolls' vocals are an asset to PW.

Download / Painted Windows

US Billboard Top 10

1. Flo Rida - Right Round
2. Lady Gaga - Poker Face
3. Soulja Boy - Kiss Me Thru Thru Phone
4. T.I. (Ft. Justin Timberlake) - Dead And Gone
5. The All-American Rejects - Gives You Hell
6. Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You
7. Jamie Foxx - Blame It YAY!
8. Kanye West - Hearltess
9. Carrie Underwood - I Told You So
10. Lady Gaga - Just Dance

Expect Boom Boom Pow to bullet to #1 next week.

Girls Aloud 'Untouchable' Video Premiere

I have two issues with this; first of all this song is The Loving Kind minus 30%, if TLK didn't burn the charts up then I doubt this will. Secondly the video is very blah and probably a waste of money that could have been channelled into recording for a new album. I expect this will crack the top 20, but don't expect much more. Nice use of auto-tune in the verses though :-)

Keri Hilson Bonus Track

Here is another bonus track to Keri Hilson debut album In A Perfect World called Hurt Me. This bonus track only comes when you purchase the album at Wet Seal.

Download / Hurt Me

P.S - From first day sales, it looks as if Keri will sell 80k - 90k in her first week. Not a bad tally, and more than most expected.

Radar To Be Single #4?

According to, there is a rumour floating around that Radar is the fourth single to be taken from Britney's latest smash Circus. It seems a bit odd seeing as it is actually Blackout track, but it think it would be a fantastic chance to get this song heard by the general public, especially as it was supposed to be the fourth single off Blackout. The song never saw the light of day as a single due to Brit's personal circumstances, but apparantly Brit's label, Jive, had a contract with the producers of Radar (Bloodshy and Avant) to release it as a single.

As amazing a song it is (10/10), I think it would tank on the charts. Surely every fan now has this song twice anyway! Fan favourites's Kill The Lights or Unusual You would be better choices.

New Cassie

Here is a song that has just leaked titled Let's Go Crazy from Cassie. It's a good quality track and well worth a download. I must say it's better than her recently released 'buzz single' Must Be Love. I will post the tagless version when it's available.

Download / Let's Go Crazy

Flo Rida 'R.O.O.T.S' Leaked

The album was posted for streaming on MTV Canada's website, and someone ripped it so below you can download Flo Rida's latest record R.O.O.T.S in full. It is only a webrip, but it's practically CD quality. Having listened to the whole album, I'm beginning to think Flo Rida is overrated, and that Right Round was just an exception. His monotonous rapping style never varies and is exactly the same from song to song, the only thing that saves the album are the cameos from other artists. Initial hot picks:- Jump, Available and Be On You.

Track Listing
01. Finally Here
02. Jump (Ft. Nelly Furtado)
03. Gotta Get It (Dancer)
04. Shone (Ft. Pleasure P)
05. Right Round (Ft. Kesha)
06. R.O.O.T.S.
07. Be on You (Ft. Ne-Yo)
08. Mind on My Money
09. Available (Ft. Akon)
10. Touch Me
11. Never
12. Sugar (Ft. Wynter Gordon)
13. Rewind (Ft. Wyclef Jean)

Wale (Ft.Lady Gaga) - Chillin

Just noticed this song pop up on the forums; it's is called Chillin' and is actually very different and may be worth a few listens. It is from his upcoming album Attention: Deficit. Personally I hate Wale's rapping, it sounds generic and samey, however Lady Gaga really saves the song with her M.I.A-esque singing/rapping. He gives a shout out to M.I.A in the song, perhaps it was meant to be her on it?

IMHO Wale adds nothing to the track; his style has been used and used and killed over the last ten years. The only reason why Kanye West and Lil' Wayne survived is because they've changed direction. Artists like Nas and 50 cent, who refuse to move away from monotonously rapping over a looping melody, have crashed and burned. Having Gaga may breathe a bit of life into this track, but the other three quarters of it is plain boring to listen to. Next.

TLC To Reuinte For Japanese Tour has learned that R&B/Hip-Hop group TLC will reunite for a number of live concerts in Japan. TLC member Tionne Watkins aka T-Boz announced the news on her Twitter page. T-Boz writes, "TLC starts practice 4 the Japan tour on Mon [March 23]."

She then follows up her statement, adding, ''Chilli [Rozonda Thomas] and I just met about our Japan dates! We are performing 17 songs.'' Furthermore Watkins revealed details about her upcoming solo album. "I'm going in2 the studio with Brian Michael Cox and Shakesphere ('No Scrubs')," she states.

TLC split in 2008 but T-Boz said that this might not be the end. Instead, Boz insisted a farewell tour will be kicked off sometime before she releases her solo project. Tour dates for their upcoming Japan tour are still under wrap.

Keri Hilson iTunes Bonus Track & Booklet

Here is a track that you get when you pre-order Keri Hilsons just released album In A Perfect World. It is called Do It, and seems a bit generic to me, but take a listen. I have also posted for download the digital booklet, also from iTunes.

Winehouse New Music 'Too Dark And Reggae'

Amy Winehouse has reportedly been instructed to re-write songs for new album, at the request of her record label. The singer is said to be working hard on her third LP, now she has returned to the UK - but according to an insider - the label are less than thrilled with her change in musical direction.

"Amy was very productive during her stay in St Lucia. She wrote a hell of a lot of songs, but the majority of them just aren't hitting the mark." A source tells The Sun." She seems to have ditched her trademark vintage soul sound and is now heavily influenced by reggae." Claims the spy.

"Her bosses don't think it's a wise move to change her style so sharply and have told her that. The lyrics are very dark indeed. While she's known for her confessional style and has been very successful with it, many of the tracks are near the knuckle."

Keri Hilson 'Knock You Down' Video Premiere

Loving this video. Her album In A Perfect World is released today in the states so ensure you grab yourself a copy.

Madonna To Release Greatest Hits

'We're hoping to have a greatest hits package come out in September," the singer's longtime publicist, Liz Rosenberg, tells PEOPLE. "We're all very excited about it." With so many hit songs to choose from over her long career, the singer's manager, Guy Oseary, asked fans on Twitter Tuesday which tunes they think should be included.

"Working on Madonna's greatest hits album," he wrote. "Any tracks that you think MUST be on?" Still, the new album won't only feature songs her fans know and love. "Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album," says Rosenberg.

The greatest hits album will be Madonna's last with Warner Records, with whom she sold more than 200 million albums. In October 2007, she ended her 27-year relationship with the label when she signed a reported $150 million deal with concert promoter Live Nation.

Russian Duo Split

t.A.T.u. are going their separate ways according to a statement on their official blog:

"Last December a staff meeting attended by Yulia, Lena and Boris took place. Parties had unanimously decided to cease the ''operation of t.A.T.u. in full-time mode". This decision was not spontaneous, it was long-grown.

For the sake of ethics I will not mention the reasons behind it, I'll just say that these have nothing to do neither with creative nor with economic aspects."

The message goes on to detail a large amount of forthcoming releases and information regarding t.A.T.u. next endeavors. Click HERE for read more!

Ciara 'Love Sex Magic' Video Premiere

This UK banning of music videos on Youtube is so annoying! I've been hunting this video down for too long. Anyway, this clip is very hot, although I am still a bit irritated by her reluctace to perform any sort of organized choreography. Ciara is an A-Mazing dancer (see here) and she ought to play that to her strengh; a music video is the ideal palce to showcase her talent.

New Kelly Rowland Clip

Here is a clip of a song called Love Takes Over that is rumoured to be released at the end of April. It seems a bit soon since her last album, but I guess another record isn't out of the question. This sounds quite hot, a club banger is exactly what she needs.

Doll Domination 2.0 Cover

I'm hating the Doll Domination era, it whiffs of desperation.

New Flo Rida Leak

Here is a new song from Flo Rida called Be On You and it features Ne-Yo. The song is off his sophomore album R.O.O.T.S which hit stores on March 31st. I'm predicting massive numbers for this LP; maybe he'll hit 500k. Talk about dark horse.

Download / Be On You

Lily Allen 'Not Fair Video Premiere

This video is trying to be artistic and unique, but if you ask me it just comes off looking a bit low budget. I love Ms Allen and I love It's Not Me, It's You, but the single choice and video concept threaten both their successes. F*uck You or Everyone's At It next please!

New Ciara Clip 'Feelin' On My'

Here is a clip of a new song from Ciara called Feelin' On My. The full song isn't on the tracklist for her upcoming album Fantasy Ride, but it sounds hot so I hope it is a bonus track or something. Her much delayed album is set to be released in May.

X Factor Winner Jackson Dropped

Scottish singer Leon Jackson, winner of The X Factor in 2007, has been dropped by his record label after one album. A spokeswoman for Sony BMG label Syco Music confirmed the 20-year-old was no longer with the company.

"I had a great year and learned so much recording and releasing my album," said Jackson, who released his debut record, Right Now, last October. Every artist knows these things can go either way. I'm really looking forward to my tour and doing more writing."

Keri Hilson Bonus Track

PCD To Re-release Doll Domination

The Pussycat dolls are re-releasing their album Doll Domination on March 31st. It is to be titled Doll Domination 2.0. The re-relrease will include the two amazing tracks Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny) and Top Of The World, as well as a Hush Hush remix (probably the tour mix) and 2 new songs.

There is a rumour that they have dueted with Britney, since Nicole said they would be most likely recording a track together while on tour. Other speculation surrounds a record with Lady Gaga, with whom they toured in the UK. I expect the Dolls' label is hoping for a surge in sales after the success of Jai Ho because it is widely publisized that Doll Domination has failed toperform sales-wise.

This era is messy! What happened to Bottle Pop? They have already had five singles and the album isn't even six months old!
