Heidi Range: Sugababes Are NOT Splitting!

Heidi Range has put rumours to rest on the future of the Sugababes.

Reports of a split started after rumours that the band had been dropped from their US label Roc Nation. However, a recent message posted on the group's official website stated: "We have never been 'signed' to Roc Nation for a scheduled album release in America."

Range, who is currently promoting a new fitness class with Virgin, has now confirmed the band will not split up. She said: "That rumour has been flying around for the past nine years!

"If we were going to split up I'd just come out and say it but we're actually having a great time. We're off to India next week and then
we're back in the studio to record some new tracks.

Rare Rolling Stones track released for Record Store Day

A recently unearthed Rolling Stones track is to be released as a limited edition 7" single for Record Store Day.

Plundered My Soul was recorded during sessions for the band's sprawling 1972 double album Exile On Main Street, but was left to languish in the vaults.

The group rediscovered the track while preparing a reissue of the album, which is due to be released on 18 May.

Just 1,000 copies have been pressed for Record Store Day, 17 April, which aims to promote independent music stores. The Beatles, Pet Shop Boys, Lily Allen and Goldfrapp are also releasing limited edition recordings in aid of the event, which is now in its fourth year.

Britney Spears 'Dramatic' Leaks

Okay, so this isn't entirely news seeing as this leaked years ago, however the difference this time is that it doesn't have that leech Heidi Montag throwing up all over it. This is rumoured to have been recorded in 2006 as part of the Blackout sessions, but then the direction of the album changed and it didn't make the cut. There is a rather annoying, very invasive tag attached to the song, but hopefully a non-tagged version will surface soon enough.

LQ clip of Rihanna's song with David Guetta

Okay, so I'm kicking off today with something quite exciting; as you may know if you have been reading music blogs, David Guetta is working with Rihanna for a new album/re-release of Rated R. Well while on a French radio show yesterday, Guetta premiered a short LQ snippet of this track.

I questioned at first whether it is actually Rihanna singing and I'm still not sure, although many claim it definitely is her. It has a very Disturbia-esque vibe to it which I am pleased about as that is my favourite song of hers and the genre which I feel is most popular with radio at the moment.
