Lady GaGa has admitted that she received a career boost when Christina Aguilera was accused of stealing her look.Aguilera performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in September wearing platinum blonde hair extensions, a black catsuit and a mask, leading many commentators to claim she was imitating Lady GaGa's distinctive sense of style.
"Well, it was very flattering when it happened," GaGa told DS. "She's such a huge star and if anything I should send her flowers, because a lot of people in America didn't know who I was until that whole thing happened."
"There are no hard feelings with Christina at all," she said. "They saw a huge, Grammy-winning star who's been around for years and they recognised Lady GaGa. That to me is quite an accomplishment."
