New Lil' Mama
This song is brilliant, it's called I'm A Diva and would have fit really well with Britney's voice as it uses a similar beat to what she would use. It reminds me of Radar.New Rihanna

Madonna Plans Tour Extension
Rumors that have grown to almost a certainty know are that the Queen of Pop's Sticky & Sweet tour is going to be extended this summer.Different sources are reporting that Madge and her team are planning to add some cities that weren't on the tour last year to their upcoming schedule. And, no, it won't be a new tour, just an extension of the shows last year. Currently the new extension will last for two months, all of July and August.
At the moment, we're only hearing of European cities being added. Nothing has been confirmed 100% just yet, but by the looks of things and from what we're hearing, it looks like it's definitely going to happen.

Beyonce Official Remix
Jay Z has lent a hand with Beyonce's new single Diva by adding his own rap verse to the song. Personally I don't think the song is any better off, but judge for yourselves.Sunday, 25 January 2009

It's tagged to hell, but I will post the untagged HQ as soon as it becomes available. Radio rip below!Lily Allen Sours On iTunes
Lily Allen has flown straight to #1 on iTunes UK with her latest release The Fear. It is selling about 20% more than Lady Gaga's Just Dance. Lily is getting ready to release her greatly anticipated sophomore album It's Not Me, It's You. The song itself leaked nearly a year ago in demo form and has received generally positive reviews from fans. She gone in a more electro-synth pop direction compared to her last album Alright, Still.
The Fear EP has also shot to #1 on the album chart. The release features her new single, as well as two B-Sides called Kabul Sh*t and Fag Hag which are both excellent listens and would be stand out tracks on their own in my opinion. It also includes the song F*uck you which is set to be on the album too.

This year's Glastonbury festival is already edging toward a sell-out –and before a single act has been announced. Some 90% of the festival's 137,500 tickets have now been sold, according to organiser Michael Eavis. Organisers took a different tack for the 2009 festival, putting tickets on sale in October – six months earlier than usual.Speaking at the Miden conference in Cannes, Eavis boasted that four headliners had already been booked for the June event – two English artists and two from the US. "We've got four headliners at the moment," he said. "If they all confirm, then I've got two headliners for Saturday."
Blur, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Kaiser Chiefs have been strongly rumoured for this summer's festival. Because bands play Glastonbury for "very little money", Eavis said, he delays announcing the lineup until bigger groups have had the chance to sell tickets for their own British and European tours.

Okay I'm happy for Obama, but seriously is it necesary to keep making songs about the guy. As if Jay Z has a clue about politics!New Lily Allen
Here is a track called Straight To Hell which is actually a cover of a song by The Clash. The song will be her contribution to War Child: Heroes compilation CD. It will not appear on her new album It's Not Me, It's You, which in my view is good as it's quite a weak track. Also, a track from her upcoming album It's Not Me, It's You has leaked. It's called He Wasn't There and it's brilliant. Below you can download the webrip as the HQ isn't available yet. [UPDATE - It's the acoustic version NOT the studio version]

Global Music Sales fell 7% in 2008
Music sales worldwide fell by about 7 percent last year as another sizable jump in digital sales failed to make up for a deepening decline in the compact disc market, according to John Kennedy, chief executive of the industry’s main international trade group. Revenue from music sold over the Internet, via mobile phones and in other digital forms, rose by 25 percent last year, to $3.7 billion, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry said in a report set for publication Friday. Digital sales accounted for 20 percent of the industry’s revenue, up from 15 percent a year earlier.
But a nosedive in sales of CDs in the United States, aggravated by the economic downturn and widespread piracy, took its toll in the fourth quarter of the year, when the industry typically posts its strongest sales. Meanwhile, growth in downloads from online music stores like Apple’s iTunes has slowed.

Legal Downloads Swamped By Piracy
Ninety-five per cent of music downloaded online is illegal, a report by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has said. The global music trade body said this is its biggest challenge as artists and record companies miss out on payments. There has, however, been a 25% rise since last year with downloads now accounting for a fifth of all recorded music sales.
The IFPI said worldwide music market revenues shrank by 7% last year. This was blamed on falling CD sales, while the increase in digital sales failed to make up for this. The IFPI, which represents 1,400 companies in 72 countries, estimated more than 40 billion music files were illegally shared in 2008.
There were 1.4 billion single tracks legally downloaded in 2008, with the top-selling digital single, Lil Wayne's Lollipop, selling 9.1 million copies.
