Circus Debut's At #4 In The UK

Despite selling double what her last effort Blackout sold, Britney's Circus has entrered the album chart at #4. She managed to shift 70,000 copies in the first week, but was unable to see off competition from The Killers, Leona and Take That.

Take That's The Circus had a record opening day shifting over 133,000 copies and surpassed 300,000 by the weeks close. Despite her lukewarm reception in the UK, Britney looks set to fly straight to #1 on the Billboard chart in the US with predictions set at around 450,000 copies.
