US Billboard Album Sales News

Taylor swift looks set to steal the show with her new album 'Fearless' by selling 550k - 600k copies in her first week, which is about triple what T-Pain can hope to shift. His new effort 'Thr33 Ringz' looks set to sell around the 190k - 220k mark. Now 29 returns with first-week sales in the 160-170k range, a far cry from its glory days, but probably good enough for #4. However, in a surprise to of events (for me anyway) Christina Aguilera's 'Keep's Gettin' Better: A Decade of Hits' is predicted to sell around 75k copies, which ain't half bad for a greatest hits album.

All considered though, CD sales are down 29% on the same week last year.
