Gorillaz will debut a number of new demos on Radio 1 on Wednesday night [13 January]. Damon Albarn, deputising for Radio 1's Zane Lowe as part of the Takeover series, will play a number of works-in-progress from the group's forthcoming third album from 7pm onwards.The band's as yet untitled album has yet to have a have a confirmed release date. Members of the band including Murdoch Niccals will also reportedly appear.
A statement on the band's website reads: "The band has graciously given Damon the go-ahead to premiere some demos from the new record on air
