Madonna Plans Tour Extension
Different sources are reporting that Madge and her team are planning to add some cities that weren't on the tour last year to their upcoming schedule. And, no, it won't be a new tour, just an extension of the shows last year. Currently the new extension will last for two months, all of July and August.
At the moment, we're only hearing of European cities being added. Nothing has been confirmed 100% just yet, but by the looks of things and from what we're hearing, it looks like it's definitely going to happen.

Lily Allen Sours On iTunes
The song itself leaked nearly a year ago in demo form and has received generally positive reviews from fans. She gone in a more electro-synth pop direction compared to her last album Alright, Still.
The Fear EP has also shot to #1 on the album chart. The release features her new single, as well as two B-Sides called Kabul Sh*t and Fag Hag which are both excellent listens and would be stand out tracks on their own in my opinion. It also includes the song F*uck you which is set to be on the album too.

More Lily Allen Leaks
Glastonbury 2009 already 90% sold out
Speaking at the Miden conference in Cannes, Eavis boasted that four headliners had already been booked for the June event – two English artists and two from the US. "We've got four headliners at the moment," he said. "If they all confirm, then I've got two headliners for Saturday."
Blur, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Kaiser Chiefs have been strongly rumoured for this summer's festival. Because bands play Glastonbury for "very little money", Eavis said, he delays announcing the lineup until bigger groups have had the chance to sell tickets for their own British and European tours.

Global Music Sales fell 7% in 2008
Revenue from music sold over the Internet, via mobile phones and in other digital forms, rose by 25 percent last year, to $3.7 billion, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry said in a report set for publication Friday. Digital sales accounted for 20 percent of the industry’s revenue, up from 15 percent a year earlier.
But a nosedive in sales of CDs in the United States, aggravated by the economic downturn and widespread piracy, took its toll in the fourth quarter of the year, when the industry typically posts its strongest sales. Meanwhile, growth in downloads from online music stores like Apple’s iTunes has slowed.

Legal Downloads Swamped By Piracy
There has, however, been a 25% rise since last year with downloads now accounting for a fifth of all recorded music sales.
The IFPI said worldwide music market revenues shrank by 7% last year. This was blamed on falling CD sales, while the increase in digital sales failed to make up for this. The IFPI, which represents 1,400 companies in 72 countries, estimated more than 40 billion music files were illegally shared in 2008.
There were 1.4 billion single tracks legally downloaded in 2008, with the top-selling digital single, Lil Wayne's Lollipop, selling 9.1 million copies.
