Alexandra’s debut single has already made it into the record books: today it was confirmed as the fastest-selling download single in history across the whole of Europe!The single sold over 105,000 copies in the UK on download only in just one day, Sunday 14th December. It smashed the previous record of 82,000 in one day achieved by Leona Lewis with her debut release, ‘A Moment Like This’.
Comparatively Take That’s recent No.1 single ‘Greatest Day’ sold 9,488 downloads on its first day, and Girls Aloud’s No.1 track ‘The Promise’ sold 7,600 downloads.
