Rihanna Sees Album Sales Surge

According to reports Rihanna is getting the love while Chris Brown is feeling the wrath of the angry fans.E! has revealed that sales of Rihanna’s 2007 album, Good Girl Gone Bad, surged 33%, selling an additional 25,000 copies in the past week alone. Meanwhile, sales from Chris Brown’s 2007 album, Exclusive, continued on its downward spiral. The record has risen to 31 in the US Billboard Album chart, while Chris Brown's 2007 album Exclusive failed to register in the Top 200.

Meanwhile, the singer's collaboration with T.I. 'Live Your Life' is at number 16 in the Billboard Hot 100, with solo single 'Disturbia' at 33.

There is more bad news for Chris, radio stations in the US, Australia, and Barbados have already banned all of his songs. Poor Brown has hired a crisis management team to help him deal with the aftermath of the attack.

Justin Will Appear In Next Ciara Video

Pop singer Justin Timberlake will be teaming up with Ciara for her next single called Love, Sex and Magic which was produced by Timbaland. The new single is for her new album Fantasy Ride which will hit stores sometime in April (Although ti ahs already been pushed back twice). The video for the new single is rumored to be shot tomorrow in New York and will be produced by Diane Martel.

Please let this song be an uptempo club banger! It's what she needs!

BEP's Album Release Date and First Single

The Black Eyed Peas will release their first studio album in four years, "The E.N.D.," on June 9 via Interscope. As previously reported, the group originally hoped to release the set, which stands for "The Energy Never Dies," in March.

The album's first single, "Boom Boom Pow," will soon be serviced to radio and clubs. The group is planning an international tour in support of the release. Black Eyed Peas principal will.i.am previously told Billboard he hopes the album will continue to evolve even after it is released.

"When [the album] comes out, there'll be 12 songs on it, but the next day there could be 100 songs, 50 sketches, 1,000 blogs all (online) around 'The End,' so the energy really, truly never dies,” he said.He described the music as "a lot of dance stuff, real melodic, electronic, soulful. We call it, like, electric static funk, something like that."

Flo Rida Smashes Sales Records

It's shaping up to be a very good 2009 for rapper Flo Rida. His hit single Right Round has broken all digital sales records. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the single had 636,000 digital downloads in one week! Rida will have the #1 song in America once the Billboard Hot 100 is released later today. Sometimes sampling from classics isn't such a bad idea! It's a worthy #1 in our books.

T.I. 'Dead And Gone' Video

The video for T.I.'s latest single, the Justin Timberlake assisted 'Dead and Gone', premiered within the last hour. While the clip does a good job of driving home the song's message, it was one boring video if there ever was one. Decent song, yet a sleep-inducing video. That said, I guess it serves its purpose.

New Girls Aloud Album In 2010

There have been various stories in the newspapers this week - and it's true that the girls will be doing various bits outside of Girls Aloud this year. However, it has been confirmed that there will be a brand new Girls aloud album next year - and that they girls have just signed a new deal with Polydor / Fascination for minimum of three more albums!

It's also confirmed that there'll be a third single from the Girls' latest album Out Of Control. The Loving Kind peaked at #10 in the UK.

Alexandra Burke Signs £3m Deal

Alexandra Burke has reportedly signed a US record deal with Epic worth £3 million.The X Factor winner was picked up by the label for a five-album contract as a result of the success of her 'Hallelujah' single, The Sun reports.

An industry insider said: "Epic think Alexandra can follow in Leona's footsteps."The US market loves women with big voices - and Alex certainly has that. If she comes close to Leona's success it will be a job well done."

It is claimed that Epic is planning a similar launch strategy to the one used by parent company Sony to promote Leona Lewis.Earlier this week, Burke said that watching Coldplay's success at the Grammys has made her more determined to crack America.

Neyo 'Bossy' Demo

Ne-Yo has a lot to celebrate lately after winning 2 Grammys last week. Not only that his third album "Year of Gentlemen" has already sold over 800,000 copies and has spawned three hit singles! Here we have the demo version of "Bossy" which was written by Ne-Yo and later recorded and released by Lindsay Lohan. The song managed to peak to #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play, but never went anywhere from there. If you don't have lindsay's version, get it now.
